Karis and I were married in 2000 and the Lord has since blessed us with two beautiful girls - Kayla (in 2005) and Krista (in 2007).
After many years of educational and practical preparation, we are so happy to be serving here in Cameroon. The Lord brought us here to do our language study, which has given us a unique opportunity to learn the culture and language at the same time.
On the first Sunday of January, we celebrated our one year anniversary! The house was packed with over 100 people, including many visitors, to hear the word of the Lord and the goal of our church.
We have labeled 2009 as a year of spiritual growth and are praying that, whether or not we grow in numbers, we will grow in the Lord both individually and corporately.
After almost ten years since we first set foot in Cameroon, the Lord has now brought us back here as part of a Baptist Mid-Missions team to minister at the Église Baptiste d’Odza in the capital city of Yaoundé. We will be spending the bulk of our time in the first several months learning and practicing French in preparation to minister the gospel here more effectively.
This site will tell both sides of the story of our life here in Cameroon - what’s happening in our personal lives, as well as the progress of our ministry at the Eglise Baptiste d’Odza and it’s varioius outreach ministries.
